College recruiting guidance for Tier 1 tennis and golf players. For tennis, Tier 1 partners with American College Placement; coaches contribute the assessment and the training plan, and ACP runs the process.
TENNIS
PATHWAY TO
COLLEGE
For high school players, Tier 1 partners with Matt Knoll and American College Placement (ACP) to guide families through college recruiting. ACP works with students in grades 9–12: exploring opportunities, preparing for recruiting calls and visits, and navigating financial aid. Matt brings 30 years in college tennis, including coaching Baylor University to a national championship and mentoring NCAA singles champions. Recruiting support is built mainly for Full-Time Academy players; other players with college goals should raise it with their coach.
WHO DOES WHAT
Tier 1 coaches contribute an honest assessment of each player's level and build the training and tournament plan that supports their goals. ACP runs the recruiting process.

WHERE PLAYERS HAVE GONE
Tier 1 players have gone on to NCAA Division I, II and III programs nationwide, including Harvard, Princeton, USC and the University of Washington.

Golf recruiting is driven by scoring. A Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking and a scoring differential that meets a program’s benchmark are what put a player on a college coach’s radar, supported by proactive communication and a documented scoring history.
