TIER 1 ACADEMY POLICY, 2026–27

The 2026–27 academy season runs from August 31, 2026 to June 27, 2027. Session dates and drop dates are on the WSC session calendar.

Enrollment is not an annual contract. Players are auto-enrolled from session to session, Fall 1 through Spring 2, and keep their spot for as long as they stay enrolled. Winter break camps, December 21 – January 3, are not part of auto-enrollment and are booked separately.

Core, 1 day per week. Foundations, Prep and High School Training, 2 days per week. Junior Academy, 2 days per week. After-School Academy, 3 days per week.

To leave the academy for an upcoming session, email Tier1@woodinvillesportsclub.com by that session's drop date, which is one week before the session is billed. Drop dates are listed on the session calendar. Telling a coach isn't an opt-out; it has to be in writing to the program address. Opting out releases your child's spot, and returning requires a new application, subject to waitlist availability.

Not the same as cancelling a single class, clinic or camp registration, which follows the club's 7-day policy at woodinvillesportsclub.com/policies.

The first billing date for 2026–27 was August 17, 2026, two weeks before the season began, to ease overlap with summer training payments. After that, billing runs about three weeks before the start of each session.

Each player holds a reserved spot in a structured group, so we don't offer make-ups or refunds for classes missed due to illness, travel or personal reasons. Credits are issued only for classes missed to compete in a qualifying tournament:

• Qualifying: USTA Level 5, Level 4, Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1; ITF junior tournaments; UTR Pro Tennis Tour events.
• Not qualifying: USTA Level 6 and 7; UTR events outside the Pro Tennis Tour; school matches; team practices.

Eligibility follows the event, not the group: any group-program player competing in a qualifying event is eligible. Full-Time Academy players don't receive credits at any level, because tournament play and travel are built into those programs rather than being an absence from them.

Everyone in classes, clinics and private lessons needs the appropriate Woodinville Sports Club pass or membership. At Beaverton, every player needs a Club Access Pass from Beaverton Sports Club.

Available to players enrolled in Tier 1 group programs. Cancel at least 24 hours in advance, or you may be charged under club policy. PODs and semi-private sessions supplement group training; they don't replace required group days.

Players are expected to bring effort, respect and commitment to every Tier 1 activity. Tier 1 may dismiss a player whose behavior or commitment undermines the training environment, and refunds aren't guaranteed in that case.

The club may adjust program offerings, pricing or schedules with advance notice.
